Established around 2010, Sri Sri Mahalakshmi Pooja Samiti has grown to become the largest and most prestigious Samiti in Domhar Mafi village, uniting the entire community through unwavering devotion.
The Grand Deepawali Utsav
Arrival of the Deities
The celebration begins on Dhanteras with the arrival of Goddess Lakshmi, Ganesh Ji, and Saraswati Ji. Following the 'Pran-Pratishtha' on Chhoti Diwali, the entire village gathers on Deepawali to light diyas and perform a grand, unified worship.
Maha Hawan & Vishal Bhandara
Community Blessings
A massive, soul-purifying Hawan is organized where everyone—elders, women, and children—participates. This is followed by a 'Vishal Bhandara', serving sacred Prasad to every single person in the village.
Krishna Janmashtami
Night-long Kirtan & Chhathi
We celebrate Janmashtami with enchanting night-long Kirtans and midnight celebrations. Six days later, a grand 'Chhathi' (Chatyara) Bhandara is hosted, bringing the entire village together once again for a divine feast.
